ABOUT US
In 1991, we bought the local meat shop in Carson, North Dakota and changed
its name to Double R Meats. We take pride in our full-service meat shop
which offers homemade jerky, homemade sausages, a variety of red meats and
pork as well as processed lunchmeats and cheeses.
On-farm butchering and processing are services we provide for most of
southwestern North Dakota and parts of northwestern South Dakota as this
is a farming and ranching region. Clients without their own home-grown cattle
can order quarters, halves or whole carcasses of USDA inspected meat to
have processed as they desire.
We process a variety of wild game such as deer, antelope, elk, moose
and bison. Just about any type of meat can be made into sausage. We have
even made some great emu summer sausage!
Obviously, we have only published our most common products and services,
but we are more than happy to assist you with a new idea. If you are wondering--just
ask!
