A trip to Carson to visit my parents is never complete without a stop to purchase your products, especially summer sausage and country style sausage. We also buy your hamburger in large quantities, as it is the leanest meat we have found. But it truly is your sausages that we enjoy the most. We have shared them with friends in Belle Fourche and as a result our orders keep increasing in size, as we now have to purchase for them also. We have been doing business with Double R Meats since they opened in 1991. I like the idea of him coming out to the farm to do the butchering. We don’t have any mess and he takes care of the entire cleanup!

Double R Meat Market is the place to go if you need a butcher. They can come to your farm or sell you supplies and special seasonings if you butcher your own. Double R Meats cures hams with flavor and tenderness. You can’t stop chewing on the cured smoked salmon and the deer or beef jerky.

There is double the service with extras such as frozen rolls, cheese buttons and kniphela. Seldom do I buy children candy snacks when I can take them to Double R Meats for a treat.

Rod and his staff are wonderful. They offer a great service and wonderful products. I am a teacher in the community , and for summer school I approached Rod about showing my students how to make beef jerky. He was more than willing, and he went above and beyond. He not only showed us the process they go through, but he had made some jerky the day before, and pulled it out of the smoker while we were on our tour. He then proceeded to share it with us.
